Given to the sustained sporting success Borussia Dortmund recorded in the
first quarter (July 1st, 2011 - September 30th, 2011) of the fiscal year
2011/2012 again considerably improved results compared to the previous
reference report period.

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) in an amount of EUR 5.8 Mio. (previous year EUR 1.0 Mio.) in
the first quarter of the fiscal year 2011/2012. Earnings before taxes (EBT)
amounted EUR 6.2 Mio. (previous year EUR 0.3 Mio.) in the first quarter,
the result in the respective report period amounted EUR 5.5 Mio. (previous
year EUR 0.3 Mio.).

According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group result amounted EUR 4.2 Mio. in the first quarter
(previous year EUR -0.5 Mio.). Group Revenues recorded EUR 43.1 Mio.
(previous year EUR 32.2 Mio.). Group gross revenue amounted EUR 43.9 Mio.
(previous year EUR 32.7 Mio.). Group Earnings before interest, taxes,
depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted EUR 11.2 Mio. (previous
year EUR 5.4 Mio.). Group Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT)
resulted in EUR 6.5 Mio. (previous year EUR 0.8 Mio.) in the report period.
