Incap starts cooperation with Valkee, the developer of bright light headset to treat seasonal depression

INCAP STARTS COOPERATION WITH VALKEE, THE DEVELOPER OF BRIGHT LIGHT HEADSET TO
TREAT SEASONAL DEPRESSION

Incap Corporation and Valkee Ltd have signed a cooperation agreement on
manufacturing components of bright light headset, and the first deliveries took
place from Incap's Kuressaare factory in November 2011.

The bright light headset by Valkee Ltd is a new innovation that has attracted
both health care professionals and consumers. Valkee substitutes the mood-
elevating effects of the sun, by channeling safe bright light directly to
photosensitive regions of the brain through the ear canal. That's why Valkee
increases energy, and can act as a preventative or treatment of mood swings and
depression. Valkee has CE Class II(a) medical device certification and is
clinically tested. In a clinical trial by University of Oulu, 9 of 10 people
with seasonal affective disorder felt total symptom relief in four weeks with a
daily 8-12 minute dose. Seasonal affective disorder symptoms include fatigue,
increase of appetite and increased need for sleep, poor quality of sleep and
difficulty to wake up in the mornings during the dark winter months.

Mr Kimmo Akiander, Director of Incap's Business unit Well-being, is satisfied

new innovation promoting well-being, and it fits well into Incap's manufacturing

manufacture of these devices. "

Cooperation with Valkee is in line with Incap's strategy, as the company aims to
take advantage of global megatrends such as growth in demand for healthcare
technology. Incap's manufacturing program includes a number of medical devices,
and the company has an ISO 13485:2003 quality certification for manufacturing of
medical devices.
