HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Nov 22, 2011) - Susie Bean, an online boutique offering unique toddler clothing and stationery, is calling for certified service providers who serve children with autism or mental illness. Selected providers will participate in a scholarship project through which Susie Bean donates a percentage of profits from product sales, along with donations made, to families struggling financially to provide the help their children need.

"It is important that we identify service providers for these two populations in every city," says Susie Bean proprietor Dr. Layla Salek. "We want our scholarship project to reach families who need financial assistance to provide their children with the necessary help to change their future."

Dr. Salek, a Texas behaviorist, started Susie Bean as a mission to help children get necessary and often costly services. She combined her love of children and photography to create quality, eco-friendly products exclusive to Susie Bean, including organic toddler tees, organic cotton onesies and cute stationery sets -- all printed with her unique photographs of toys and sold through the Susie Bean website. She donates 30 percent of profits to the scholarship project.

Only certified service providers serving children with autism or mental illness will be considered for participation in the project. Those service providers must be able to identify families needing financial support for their child's services and willing to offer the scholarships for necessary services to those families in need. Providers will be required to submit accurate financial records regarding how the scholarships are allocated on a bi-annual basis.

To learn more about the scholarship project and submit a request for inclusion, visit the website at susiebean.com. Charitable gift purchases and donations can also be made through the site.
