Rejlers helps the Swedish Transport Administration to modernize the Western Main Line

The Swedish Transport Administration invests in the modernization of the Western
Main Line, regards the railway distance between Laxå and Alingsås. The project
includes improvement of the standard overhead line, new power supply system for
train operations and track and trace gear changes. The Western Main Line, which
connects Stockholm and Gothenburg, is one of the busiest rail routes in the
country. The project is expected to be completed in 2016.

Rejlers has been commissioned to design overhead line, electrical power, signal
and telecommunications systems and to deliver construction documents,
construction support and management documents. The order value is estimated to
be about SEK 8.5 million.

Rejlers' order also includes an option that can extend the order to 2019. This
option regards among other things, reconstruction of a travel center and a
meeting point for increased capacity.
