Liepaja, 2011-12-09 08:36 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The JSC “Liepājas metalurgs” is informing about the successful start of the new meltshop operations on December 6, 2011 and about finalization of the modernization project. The newest high-technology production system was implemented in this project, which would allow to improve the Company’s competitiveness and increase productivity of the meltshop by 80% while decreasing costs per unit.
The latest technology was developed and installed by the following companies: STG Group S.p.A. (Italy), FUCHS Technology AG (Switzerland/Germany), Converteam/General Electric (France/Germany), and JSC “Liepājas metalurgs”.
