DETROIT, Dec. 14, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Covisint, a Compuware (Nasdaq:CPWR) company, today announced that it is helping Intermountain Healthcare, an internationally recognized nonprofit health system based in Salt Lake City, to earn nearly $1 million in PQRS incentives granted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) for PQRS.

Covisint, which has led the nation for two years in helping healthcare providers and systems obtain these incentives, is accepting 2012 PQRS submissions at http://www.covisint.com/web/guest/healthcare/docsitepqri. The PQRS process enables physicians, physician practices and large healthcare systems to qualify for financial incentives by easily submitting specific quality data on Medicare Part B fee-for-service patients. Covisint also helps physician and care provider customers obtain Meaningful Use (MU) incentives via the Covisint DocSite solution.
