Massachusetts, has notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that its
voting rights in Asian Bamboo AG have fallen below the threshold of 5% of
the voting rights on 20 December 2011 and amounted to 4.99% (770,439 voting
rights) as of that date.

All 770,439 voting rights are attributed to Wellington Management Company,
LLP pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.
