On January 2, 2012, Semper Constantia Invest GmbH, Vienna, Austria, has
informed us according to Sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on Praktiker AG, Kirkel, Germany, have exceeded the 3%
threshold of the Voting Rights on December 20, 2011, and on that day
amounted to 3.10% (this corresponds to 1800511 Voting Rights).

According to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 of the WpHG, 2.36% of the
Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1370511 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
