MacAulay-Brown and Peerless Technologies Awarded $955 Million Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services IDIQ Contract from the United States Air Force


DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading engineering and technical services company supporting the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community with over 2,000 employees worldwide, announced today that the Company and its joint venture partner, Peerless Technologies, have been awarded a $955 million Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Air Force (USAF).

According to the USAF, the Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services (ACCESS) contract has been awarded to the Peerless-MacB Joint Venture as the only Small Business Approved (SBA) 8(a) joint venture. The SBA designation will allow the two companies to co-bid on task orders as a Joint Venture throughout the duration of the contract.

ACCESS is a follow on to the Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services (CAPS) contract vehicle, which provides engineering and technical services to the program offices at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. MacB currently supports the CAPS program.

18 other companies have been included in the award. The term of the contract is projected to run through June of 2015. The Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the contracting activity.
