Cooper & Company, an independent, full-service investment bank, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., announced today that Ken Trbovich has joined the firm as a Senior Research Analyst in the Healthcare Research Department. Trbovich joins the firm with 15 years of equity research experience, including a decade on the sell side exclusively focused on companies in healthcare.
Shortly after entering into the business as an equity analyst, Trbovich joined the Red Chip Review as a generalist before advancing to take on responsibility for directing and supervising the day-to-day activities of a 10-person equity research group that provided independent research coverage on nearly 300 small capitalization companies. He moved to the sell-side to focus on healthcare research, becoming part of the team of analysts that built the healthcare franchise for C.E. Unterberg Towbin. Most recently, Trbovich spent five years as the U.S. Specialty Pharmaceutical Analyst for the RBC Capital Markets where he was separately recognized by both the Wall Street Journal and Forbes for his stock picking abilities.
