Thank you for registering for MWAT #3 (Market Wide Acceptance testing). Please take a short moment to read through some of the practical aspects regarding the MWAT.
MWAT #3 will begin Thursday the 26th January 1330 hours (CET) and conclude on Friday the 27th January 1000 (CET) when all clearing reports will be made available. Before MWAT commences on Thursday, it will be possible for all members to log on to the test environment to verify connectivity, but trading will not be possible before 1330 (CET).
Important points for all members taking part in MWAT 3:
- Please be reminded that the test environment is open daily all the way to Go Live on workdays between 08-15.30 outside of the MWAT sessions, see the following overview: http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/digitalAssets/76/76315_nasdaqomxcommodities-geniuminet-testenvironmentsandsupportdetails-oct11.pdf
- Please use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 8 or greater when submitting your feedback form. If you do not have access to one of the browsers mentioned above, please send an email to commodities.geniuminet@nasdaqomx.com and we will send you the questions via email
- RSA tokens are not in use for CW2 access during MWAT, only in production
- It is highly recommended to use the latest version of Trading Workstation, now updated to version r23875
- If you have encountered missing user rights, missing usernames or similar configuration issues during previous MWAT:s; please contact memberservices@nasdaqomx.com immediately to resolve these problems ahead of MWAT 3
Testing
The aim is to simulate regular market activities within the test environment; we therefore ask that members attempt to simulate both the functions used and volumes of a normal production day.
There are no specific test case scripts; members are encouraged to create their own test cases.
- Please use realistic prices and volumes
- Please trade the instrument series you normally would trade on
- Production ids should be used and normal trading software should be used for market making etc.
Limitations in testing
- Please see latest the known limitations document http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/digitalAssets/77/77662_known_limitations_genium_inet_commodities.pdf
Applications
Members should be active in the test environment with relevant applications. E.g. If you wish to use both Trading Workstation and Clearing Workstation in production please do so also during MWAT. In cases where 3rd party software dependencies exist, please ensure they are included in the MWAT. Examples are front-office applications like ORC, Trayport and CQG. Examples of back-office applications are Brady and Navita.
Trading Workstation users
To ensure you are able to enter in trades without problems, please ensure you have downloaded the latest version of Trading Workstation Installation Kit, r23875
http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/digitalAssets/77/77661_tw_kit_r23875.msi
WebTrade users
Some members have encountered problems with user and trading rights for WebTrade. If you have experienced such problems earlier, please contact memberservices@nasdaqomx.com for assistance.
Trayport users
All members that normally trade using Trayport need to do so also during MWAT. If you have not yet done so, please download the newest version of the NPTranslator service for Trayport Trading Gateway for Genium INET and verify that it works before MWAT on Thursday. Please follow this link for the latest installation kit: NPTranslatorV.1.0.11.6
CW1 users
In previous MWATs, some members have had wrong versions of this application. Please ensure you have downloaded the correct version r23538. Link: http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/digitalAssets/77/77604_cw1_r23538.exe
