Hill International to Manage Construction of GPIC Headquarters at Philadelphia Navy Yard


MARLTON, N.J. & PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that it has received a contract from the Pennsylvania State University to provide professional project management services during construction of a facility for the Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster (GPIC). The $39 million project, located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, involves retrofitting a 38,000-square-foot existing facility into the GPIC headquarters building and research center.

GPIC's focus is to improve energy efficiency, operability and sustainability within new and existing buildings. GPIC is led by Penn State University, along with the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center, the Wharton Small Business Development Center and numerous other public and private partners.
