HOUSTON, Feb. 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join city officials, representatives of Travis Street Plaza, Amegy Bank of Texas, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) as they break ground for Travis Street Plaza Apartments, a 192-unit permanent housing community for homeless and disabled veterans.
The project received a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program grant through Amegy Bank and FHLB Dallas to assist with the construction of the project.
The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, February 9, 2012. All media is invited to attend, and attendees will be available for interviews and photo opportunities.
