Deputy Assistant Attorney General From Department of Justice Criminal Division Among Speakers at Corporate Counsel's Eighth Annual IP Counsel Forum


NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ALM's Corporate Counsel today announced plans for its Eighth Annual IP Counsel Forum, to take place March 7-8, at The Hilton San Jose in San Jose, Calif.

The conference speakers – including some of intellectual property's top minds – will place the flurry of recent patent reform updates into practical context for attendees. The event's featured speaker will be Deputy Assistant Attorney General from the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Criminal Division, Jason Weinstein, who will discuss the DOJ's intellectual property enforcement efforts, the work of the IP Task Force, as well as the Department's IP enforcement priorities, policy initiatives and interagency efforts.

The keynote speaker will be David Vance Lucas, the former General Counsel of Intergraph Corporation and a 15+ year veteran of IP management issues, who will discuss where are we now and where IP is headed in the future.
