Autoliv’s 2011 Annual Report Available

(Stockholm, February 23, 2012) – – – Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV and SSE: ALIV) has
filed its Form 10-K, which includes the Company’s 2011 annual report, with the
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Form 10-K, including the annual
report, is available at the SEC Edgar website: www.sec.gov.

The document will also be available in a reader-friendly pdf-version (including
graphs and other illustrations) at Autoliv’s corporate website www.autoliv.com,
under the section “Investors/Financial Reports”. The Company intends to have
this version available for downloading on Friday, February 24.

Proxy Materials

Hard copies of the Annual Report and the proxy will be available beginning March
26, as will other documents for the 2012 Annual General Meeting of Stockholders
and can be requested on-line at the Company’s website.

Stockholders of Autoliv, Inc. on the Record Date, March 12, 2012, will be
entitled to participate in and vote at the Annual General Meeting which will be
held on May 8, 2012 in Chicago.

The Company intends to mail the Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy
Materials to stockholders beginning on or after March 26, 2012. This notice will
include instructions on how to access the proxy materials electronically or how
to request hard copies of the proxy materials.
