ZetaDisplay: Gets a breakthrough order within convenience store retailing in Norway

Sweden, 2012-03-01 10:05 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

ZetaDisplay has signed a co-operation agreement with the Norwegian retail chain Safari for the rollout of the company’s Digital Signage media platform. The Safari chain consists of 13 stores in Norway, and is an independent member of the NorgesGruppen (the Norges Group). Initially, three zones are to be delivered in the stores, and their delivery has begun.

Safari is an innovative and highly regarded convenience store chain in Norway, which aims to create a unique purchasing experience for its customers. Safari focuses strongly on making it easy for customers to find the right products in its stores, while at the same time providing good advice and tips on choosing items that will make an unforgettable food experience.

ZetaDisplay regards the co-operative agreement with Safari as a breakthrough in the convenience store market in Norway.

“It is completely decisive to find the right customer benefits that suit each customer as an individual. Making use of the experience gained from larger customer installations and research in other Nordic markets, we can make this possible for Safari in Norway. Measurements in respect of increases in attention and sales have been carried out, and the results of these surveys have been most encouraging, which has now led to this rollout. We see this order as a breakthrough within convenience store retailing in Norway, and also believe that more chains in this sector within Norway shall follow suit,” explains Leif Liljebrunn, CEO ZetaDisplay AB (publ).
