Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, Delaware, USA, notified us on February 29, 2012
on its own behalf and on behalf of the further subsidiaries mentioned below
pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 in connection with Section 24 German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) as follows:

1.
Morgan Stanley Bank AG, Frankfurt, Germany, on February 23, 2012 exceeded
the thresholds of 3% and 5% and therefore held 7.27% (5,739,290 shares,
each carrying one voting right) of voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG,
Hamburg, Germany; and

2. 
the holding entity of Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc.,
Wilmington, Delaware, USA, on February 23, 2012 exceeded the threshold of
10% and therefore held 12.34% (9,731,581 shares, each carrying one voting
right) of voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG, Hamburg, Germany.
5,739,290 of these voting rights (7.27%) have to be attributed pursuant to
Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act from Morgan
Stanley Bank AG, and 3,360,700 of these voting rights (4.26%) have to be
attributed pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent.1 No. 6 sent. 2 German
Securities Trading Act; and

3. 
Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, Delaware, USA, on February 23, 2012 exceeded
the threshold of 10% and therefore held 12.34% (9,731,581 shares, each
carrying one voting right) of voting rights in alstria office REIT-AG,
Hamburg, Germany. 5,739,290 of these voting rights (7.27%) have to be
attributed pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German Securities
Trading Act, and 3,360,700 of these voting rights (4.26%) have to be
attributed pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 sent. 2 German
Securities Trading Act.

The voting rights that are to be attributed to Morgan Stanley are held via
the following companies which are controlled by Morgan Stanley and whose
holdings of voting rights amount to 3% each or more in alstria office
REIT-AG: Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc. and Morgan Stanley Bank
AG.
