Daugavpils, 2012-03-15 14:19 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JSC “Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīca” is working out the new project in the machinery field. The aim of the project is to modernize the existent manufacturing and to produce the new types of products. The pay-out of the project is approximately 6 million LVL. The funding from the EU structural funds (in amount of 35% of the project pay-out) is supposed to be attracted to the project implementation. The consummation of the project depends on the decision of LIAA.
The planned turnover in the first year is approximately 2 million LVL. It is very possible that the project will be accomplished by the establishment of the new for 100% JSC “DLRR” subsidiary company in the area of the company. However it’s not the final decision.
It is possible that the company itself will take part in LIAA. There is also still working on the certification of the repairs of the coach cars despite the project of the manufacturing modernization. If there is a positive decision from LIAA, it will allow to involve extra units for the company, as a result the extra turnover could be maximum 2 million LVL.
