IFS Announces Initial Launch of Large Cannulated Screw System and Temporary External Fixator System

MIAMI, March 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IFS (OTC:IFIX) announced today that it has begun its initial launch of its Large Cannulated Screw System and a Temporary External Fixator System. An Ilizerov Type Fixator System is pending FDA 510(k) clearance and it is anticipated to be released in the next quarter.

"These new product offerings expand our growing product portfolio," says CEO Stephen Dresnick, MD. "Our goal is to offer a full line of value priced, high quality orthopedic implants that meet surgeons' needs and hospital budgets. With Medicare including implants as part of a global fee as opposed to reimbursing them separately, there is a growing need to better manage implant costs. IFS wants to be part of the solution."

IFS currently offers a full line of Mini-Cannulated Screws used for small bone fixation as well as a Modular Locking Small Fragment System that contains locking plates and screws. For more information on our product offerings, please visit our website at www.ifsusa.net
