Advanced Reconnaissance Corp launches new line of compact hyperspectral imaging systems


Fishkill, NY, March 28, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Reconnaissance Corp (ARC) announces the launch of its new line of compact hyperspectral imaging systems for commercial and military markets. These lightweight systems are designed to be handheld or wearable, and leverage technology from its commercial hyperspectral imaging products and advanced airborne solutions.  The integrated sensor package is battery powered and includes a multi-band VNIR HSI and 3-band LWIR with various options for displays to include smartphones.  This provides for real-time processing in a portable, user friendly configuration suitable for lab, field, and military use to include route clearance and counter-IED missions.
