Düsseldorf, 30 March 2012
ecotel had a successful year 2011 with record Free Cash flow and a
virtually debt free balance sheet. Furthermore, ecotel was able to complete
most of its operative goals for 2011 whilst continuing its profitability
growth path. Despite the planned revenue decrease to EUR 84.5 million,
gross profit increased from EUR 22.9 million to EUR 24.6 million, gross
margin rose from 23% to 29%.
EBITDA in 2011 was up 45% to EUR 7.1 million (EUR 4.9 million in 2010),
corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 8.3% (5.0% in 2010). EBIT gained 106%
yoy and amounted to EUR 3.1 million (EUR 1.5 million in 2010). Net income
for 2011 came in at EUR 1.1 million (2010: EUR 0.1 million), corresponding
to earnings per share of EUR 0.29 (2010: EUR 0.02). EPS adjusted for
deferred taxes from loss carryforwards amounted to EUR 0.43.
Net debt decreased by EUR 4.1 million, from EUR 7.1 million to EUR 3.0
million. Net debt adjusted for the equity-like KfW subordinated debt
amounted to EUR 0.5 million. ecotel's equity ratio rose from 41% to 47%.
For 2012, ecotel expects revenue between EUR 80 and 90 million, with an
EBITDA of
EUR 6.0 to 7.0 million. In addition, ecotel's board anticipates a rise of
the EBITDA margin from 8% to 10% by 2013 and three digits million EUR
revenues in the mid-term.
For 2012, ecotel plans to set up a share repurchase program.
