Alpcot Agro appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Alpcot Agro AB (“Alpcot Agro”) announces that it has appointed Stephen Pickup as
Group Chief Financial Officer. Mr Pickup will start his new role effective from
today 2 April 2012, and be based in London.

Mr Pickup has 14 years of
experience in listed company corporate management, investment banking, project
management and consulting, including working for five years in the Corporate
Finance department of Deutsche Bank in London and Hong Kong. More recently, he
has since 2008 worked as CFO and then as Advisor to the Board of Landkom
International plc, which was acquired by Alpcot Agro in January 2012.

Mr
Pickup holds a BA degree in Chinese and Russian from Durham University in the
United Kingdom as well as an MBA (2004) from INSEAD. He owns 85,974 shares in
Alpcot Agro via his pension plan.
