Celebrate Spring Fashion Week at Tanger Outlets San Marcos from April 9th, 2012 – April 14th, 2012. This style filled week will showcase the best spring looks and offer customers exciting special events including a fashion forward onsite contest where 8 lucky finalists will each be given a two hundred dollar gift card and ninety minutes to create their own unique TangerSTYLE look. A fashion panel comprised of local personalities will judge the final looks and the top finalist with the best look or best value will each win a five hundred dollar Tanger Shopping Spree! In addition to The Create Your Own Style Contest from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m Tanger Outlets will be hosting style demonstrations, personal fashion tips, and a series of 15 minute Fashion Shows from some of the most stylish Tanger Outlet stores, including Tommy Hilfiger, Aldo, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, The Loft, Body Central, and many more!
On-stage fashion tips, demonstrations and entertainment will be provided by the Texas State University Student Organizations, including Fashion Nation, the Fashion Merchandising Department and more.
Also the first 200 people who check in at the Tanger Fashion Tent between 1pm and 2pm will receive a FREE strand of freshwater pearls.
Stiletto Sprint
Grab your favorite pair of 2 inch plus pumps and race to the finish line in Tanger's Stiletto Sprint at Tanger Outlets San Marcos on Friday 4/13 at 6pm in Parking lot next to Kirkland's. Shoppers ages 15 or older are invited to race in their heels down the 100 yard track for a chance to win a two hundred and fifty dollar gift card. Plus, there will be additional awards for fun categories like "Best in Shoe" and "Highest Heel".
BCRC Art Bra Runway Show Sneak Peak
Tanger Outlet - San Marcos will host The Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas, Art Bra Runway Show Sneak Peak, to be held on April 14, 2012 at 6pm. This red carpet event will feature Bras that are works of art, signed by artists, such as The Beach Boys and Willie Nelson. All models in this runway show are cancer survivors and women currently battling breast cancer. Each step down the runway will celebrate their courage and triumph of women who hear the life altering words, "You have breast cancer". The fashion show is a fun, flirty, and extremely meaningful event that supports the services of BCRC. In addition to the Bra Fashion Show, participating retailers will feature exclusive merchandise and special promotions.
