'Taste of Monticello Wine Trail' Festival to Premiere on Saturday, April 21

Guests Are Invited to Taste Wines From More Than 20 Wineries


CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., April 12, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce its sponsorship support for the very first "Taste of Monticello Wine Trail" festival, which will take place on Saturday, April 21st at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion, on the Downtown Mall.

For the first time ever, the finest wineries in the Commonwealth of Virginia will gather under one roof in Downtown Charlottesville, offering over 90 different wines for tasting. The true wine aficionados can take advantage of special VIP packages, which will include early access to the festival VIP area, exclusive catering provided by C&O Restaurant, parking, opportunity to sample select wines and a chance to mingle with the winemakers.

The "Taste of Monticello Wine Trail" festival is presented by Brown Mercedes Benz and the event will benefit the Jeffersonian Wine Grape Grower's Society.
