Spartan Chassis Backs Products With New Industry-Leading 2-Year, 36,000-Mile Warranty

Quality, Design and Reliability Pave the Road for the Emergency Response Industry's Longest Standard Warranty

CHARLOTTE, Mich., April 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spartan Chassis, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR), has upped the ante in the emergency response vehicle category by providing the industry's longest standard limited warranty: a two-year, 36,000-mile warranty on Spartan Chassis parts and components.

Dennis Schneider, president of Spartan Emergency Response, announced details of the new warranty today at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, where the company is presenting new cab/chassis, safety systems and equipment to ER professionals from around the country.

"Spartan products are all about performance, which allows us to support our customers better than any company in the emergency response sector," said Schneider. "The high quality and proven design of our products has allowed Spartan to extend this level of protection to our customers."

The Spartan Chassis limited warranty covers repair or replacement of any new Spartan chassis purchased in the United States or Canada, in which a defect in materials or workmanship appears during normal use, maintenance or service within the limited warranty period. Under the terms of the warranty, repair or replacement of covered parts must be performed by a Spartan-authorized service center.
