Global Power Equipment Group Inc. Announces Timing of the First Quarter 2012 Financial Results Conference Call


IRVING, Texas, April 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global Power Equipment Group Inc. (Nasdaq:GLPW) ("Global Power") today announced that it will release its first quarter 2012 results after the market closes on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. This release will be followed by a conference call for investors on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Central Time (11:30 a.m. Eastern Time) to discuss Global Power's first quarter 2012 results. Hosting the call will be David Willis, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Willis will be joined on the call by William Evans, Global Power's Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. 

Global Power's President and Chief Executive Officer, David L. Keller, is unable to participate on the conference call due to a short leave of absence, commencing May 1, 2012, that is related to a family medical matter. The leave of absence does not relate to the health of Mr. Keller. Out of respect for the privacy of Mr. Keller's family, the Company will not be commenting further on Mr. Keller's temporary leave.
