("Unigold" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:UGD) is pleased to announce that Mr. Jim Robinson, CPG, BSc. has joined the Company as Vice President Exploration. Mr. Robinson is a Professional Geologist with over 30 years of experience devoted towards the exploration and development of precious metals deposits. He has held several senior management and executive positions with junior to mid-tier companies with a focus on epithermal gold deposits in Latin America.

Mr. Robinson will be taking charge of the exploration programs in progress and will be responsible for the development and implementation of exploration and delineation policies, processes, procedures and controls related to the exploration and development of existing and potential new projects.
Mr. Robinson is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. He is a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG #10705) and a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, a professional association and designation recognized by the Canadian regulatory authorities.
In connection with his appointment, Unigold Inc. has granted Mr. Robinson 500,000 options at a price of $0.30 per share and a term of five years. 250,000 of the stock options vest immediately, the balance after one year. This grant is made pursuant to the Company's stock option plan.
