Experts Discuss Cross-Border Privacy Laws and Workforce Changes in eDiscovery

NEW YORK, May 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Executives from Hudson Legal, a global provider of full service e-discovery solutions, managed review and legal staffing, will lead multiple sessions at next week's 7th Annual Information Governance & eDisclosure Summit in London on May 14-16, 2012. The conference is hosted by Legal iQ, a division of IQPC.

The first of two Hudson Legal sessions, "When U.S. Courts are Knocking at the Door: Practical Steps for Managing the Tension between U.S. Discovery Obligations and Cross-Border Privacy Laws and Regulations," will discuss issues such as addressing discoverable documents residing outside of the United States with U.S. courts, early case management and accelerating the review and production of documents in the cloud, among other aspects of this topic area.

"The Emergence of the Knowledge Worker: The Changing Workforce in eDiscovery Review and Production" is the theme of Hudson Legal's second session. This discussion will address the impact of technology, the reduction of time for production of potentially discoverable documents and the necessary changes to the e-discovery workforce caused by these developments.

Additional summit topics will cover the U.S. and European regulatory climate, the information governance journey, developments in eDisclosure, e-discovery management and more.

"We look forward to an educational few days with fellow thought leaders," said Mark Yacano, executive vice president of Hudson Legal. "The issues highlighted at this summit are currently demanding the attention of both our law firm and corporate counsel clients.
