(Pink Sheets:CPSZ), dba EZ Card & Kiosk, the industry leader in offering financial transaction services to the correctional and judicial markets in the U.S. since 2008, recently finalized contract approval by the Orange County, California, Board of Supervisors, for the full-suite of EZ Card & Kiosk services, allowing the 6,600 bed county jail system to reduce overheads and streamline operations at all their locations.
Orange County, the third most populous county in the State of California, and sixth most populous county in the United States, serving over 3 million people, contracted EZ Card & Kiosk for initially four (4) kiosks, which were installed on April 26 at two locations within the county – Inmate Reception Center and Theo Lacy Center.
Within the next two weeks, EZ Card & Kiosk will activate the Bail service, which allows inmates, as well as family and friends, to post Bail via the lobby kiosks, using cash or credit/debit card, or through an online service from anywhere in the world, using credit or debit card. Shortly thereafter, the Money Load feature will be activated, allowing friends and family to place money into the inmate's trust account via the lobby kiosks or online services. EZ Exit Debit Card service will follow, providing the jail with the convenience of issuing a debit card upon release, for the balance of the inmate's trust account, making the inmate's money readily available for their personal use.
