Imperial Capital Announces Strategic Bankruptcy Trade Claim Sourcing Hires to Continue Its Expansion

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2012) - Imperial Capital, LLC today announced the hiring of two seasoned fixed income sales & trading professionals who will focus on sourcing trade claims on behalf of its institutional clients. The hiring of Victor Lafaman and Daniel McAnally as Vice Presidents in Imperial Capital's Fixed Income Sales & Trading platform based in New York further demonstrates the franchise's 2012 growth initiatives.

Mr. Victor Lafaman joins Imperial Capital as a Vice President in its Institutional Sales & Trading Group with seventeen years in the securities business as both a buy side and sell side sourcing agent of claims. Most recently, Mr. Lafaman was an Associate Director of Trade Claims with Southpaw Asset Management, LP. Prior to this, Mr. Lafaman was a Senior Vice President with Amroc Investments, LLC where he was a sales professional selling distressed debt and special credit risk situations. In addition, Mr. Lafaman was the Head of Trade Claims Sales & Trading for BDS Securities Corp., LLC where he was the lead sourcer of bankrupt claims.

Mr. Daniel McAnally is a Vice President in Imperial Capital's Sales & Trading Group in New York with five years in the trade claims sales and trading business. Prior to joining Imperial Capital, Mr. McAnally was a Vice President with Primeshares World Markets Group, LLC where he sourced bankruptcy trade claims on behalf of bank and hedge fund clients. Mr. McAnally earned a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
