NEW YORK, May 23, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ALM's CLECenter.com, the premier source of online Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs for legal professionals, today announced it has entered into an agreement with the American Bar Association (ABA) to host on-demand access to some of the ABA's CLE-eligible programs for legal professionals in the U.S.

Under the terms of the agreement, the ABA is licensing to ALM some of its catalog of on-demand CLE courses. ALM expects to make available more than 100 ABA courses by the end of 2012 on its site, www.clecenter.com.

"The ABA is recognized as the most authoritative provider of continuing education content for attorneys in the U.S., so we are pleased to host ABA on-demand CLE content," said Kevin Iredell, vice president of research and continuing education products at ALM. "The addition of this premium content to CLECenter.com clearly separates our site as the leader in the marketplace."

"ALM is a respected provider of legal news and information to American attorneys," said Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III, president of the ABA. "The ABA's extensive online catalog of timely continuing legal education courses will make for a great new resource at CLECenter.com."
