Syntel Named One of North America's Top 50 Solution Providers


TROY, Mich., June 14, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntel, Inc. (Nasdaq:SYNT), a global information technology services and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm, today announced it has been recognized by UBM Channel as a part of CRN's 2012 Solution Provider 500 list, which ranks the top technology integrators in North America.

Formerly known as the "VAR 500", the Solution Provider 500 ranks the highest producing solution provider organizations in the IT channel from hardware sales, software sales, and managed IT services.

Syntel placed #44 in the annual revenue ranking, as compared to #46 in the 2011 edition.

According to Syntel CEO, Prashant Ranade, Syntel's 21% annual revenue increase was driven by growth in a number of key sectors.
