GBS Enterprises Helps Integrated Industries, Inc. Embrace Email in the Cloud

Company Successfully Transitions to GROUP Live's Cloud Automation Center

WOODSTOCK, Ga., June 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GBS Enterprises Incorporated (OTCBB:GBSX), a global software and services company specializing in Application Modernization and Cloud Automation solutions, today announced the successful migration of Integrated Industries, Inc.'s ("IIC") on premise email to GBS' GROUP Live cloud automation data center. GROUP Live provides a comprehensive Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution for provisioning, managing and monitoring application environments optimized for IBM collaboration and social software.

IIC wanted to continue to use Notes and Domino, and GROUP Live's cloud data center was a logical choice for an existing IBM client to move from on-premise to the cloud.

Giuliano Avella, IT Manager at IIC, commented, "GBS made it easy for us to not only move our existing systems to the cloud, but also to reduce our total cost of ownership while getting better results and support. Their cloud offering prevents limited bandwidth and intermittent power outages at individual locations from disrupting services to all of our users. Because GBS offers their integrated anti-spam and anti-virus solutions on GROUP Live, we have also seen a dramatic reduction in junk email and have confidence that our environment is secure. We even have mobile access to our email, calendar and contacts on our smart phones now thanks to GBS."

GBS Enterprises with GROUP Live offers a variety of enterprise solutions for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino customers. In this case, GBS was able to seamlessly move IIC's entire messaging and collaboration service onto GROUP Live's cloud data center while also upgrading and optimizing the services in the process. IIC was immediately able to add redundancy and load balancing capabilities to ensure persistent access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, experts at GBS were able to tune IIC's deployment to reduce storage requirements and provide a better end user experience including support for multiple mobile devices.

Mr. Avella concluded, "With GBS, we now have a service provider who can ensure that we are maintaining optimal conditions for our email and collaboration services and deliver a better overall user experience so that we can focus on running our business."
