SINGAPORE and DALLAS, June 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ONE World Sports (OWS) has obtained the exclusive rights to distribute 28 selected home baseball games of the Hiroshima Carp in the United States.
The OWS deal allows fans to witness all of the best Japanese baseball teams in action. Japan's favorite team, the Yomiuri Giants, play in nine games on the OWS schedule. The Giants are so legendary in Japan that they have evoked comparisons to the New York Yankees. Also included in the schedule, is last year's Japan Series winner, the Fukuoka Hawks.

The games will air from Hiroshima Municipal Stadium. In addition to rabid fans, Hiroshima Municipal Stadium is known for a shallow outfield that allows for more exciting out of the park home run action.
