On 2 July 2012, by the decree of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, Arūnas Šikšta, General Manager of TEO LT, AB, was appointed as the Chairman of the Commission for implementation of the reform of state-owned enterprises.
“I was asked by the Government to share my experience and knowledge, and was invited to work on the Commission for implementation of the reform of state-owned enterprises. I look at these additional public duties from a citizen’s position. That will have absolutely no influence on my direct duties for TEO. However, due to my appointment to the Commission, I decided to resign from the Board of AB Žemaitijos Pienas" – Arūnas Šikšta, General Manager of TEO LT, AB, says.
