FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ALAS aka PV Enterprises International, Inc. (OTC:VDSC), ship management and cruise services, made the following announcements today.

Executive Management Changes

Planned since the reverse merger of last year, Edwin Salmon has resigned from his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and as a member of its Board of Directors. In addition, Alvin Ayers has also resigned his position as Secretary-Treasurer, CFO and Board Director and Mark S. Ayers resigned as Director.

Currently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer, Peter Villiotis will serve as Chairman of the Board and continue serving as President & Chief Operating Officer. David Turner will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Newly appointed Board of Directors will be announced within the next few days. Effective immediately, Mr. Villiotis will be supported in the area of operations and developing strategic priorities for PV Enterprises International, Inc., by a newly-formed Management Committee consisting of highly experienced executives in cruise industry and shipboard services.

David W Turner, Chief Financial Officer, has over twenty-five years experience in accounting and finance within all aspects of the cruise industry. He has been involved in start-up, on-board, small niche and mass market cruise lines such as Star Clippers, Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and others. Mr. Turner is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds three degrees from West Virginia University (MBA, MSIR, BSBA).
