Keefer, Bruner Expand Heumann Environmental Executive Team


LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Environmental industry veterans Gary S. Keefer and Ryan A. Bruner have joined Heumann Environmental LLC as vice presidents.

Heumann Environmental provides consulting services and custom builds specialized particle separation equipment known as high-efficiency cyclones. The equipment is integral to industrial and air pollution applications throughout a variety of sectors, including the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, ethanol, petroleum, forest products and utility industries.

Prior to joining Heumann Environmental, Keefer served as general manager and CEO of Fisher-Klosterman-Buell Shanghai Co., Ltd., located in Shanghai, China. He established the business as a start-up six years ago and achieved full profitability. Bruner was most recently vice president and general manager of Fisher-Klosterman, Inc., in Louisville. Both are divisions of CECO Environmental Co.

During his nearly 40-year career, Keefer has been responsible for manufacturing, purchasing, project management, quality control and safety processes, and he has supplied more than 4,000 high efficiency cyclones and scrubbers to companies in the refinery, petrochemical and power plant industries. Keefer studied architectural technology at Williamsport College in Pennsylvania, completed GE management courses and has received training in Six Sigma, ISO 9000 QC and OSHA VPP.

Bruner brings nearly 20 years of experience in the air pollution control industry. He has designed and supplied high efficiency cyclones, scrubbers and baghouses for companies within the chemical processing, petrochemical, alternative energy, wood products and food processing industries, serving clients in the Far East, Europe, Central and South America and Australia. While in Shanghai in 2009 and 2010, he also contributed to the growth of his former employer's China division.

Bruner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University, and graduated with honors from Sullivan University as an MBA in 2003. He has undergone Total Quality Management (TQM), sales and leadership training as well.
