Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, Bad Homburg v. d. H., Germany, notified us
pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG
of the following:

On 29 June 2012, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA exceeded the thresholds of 3% of
the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius SE & Co.
KGaA held 3.38% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft
(equals 4,669,269 voting rights).

2) Fresenius Management SE notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG
of the following:

On 29 June 2012, Fresenius Management SE exceeded the thresholds of 3% of
the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius Management
SE held 3.38% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft
(equals 4,669,269 voting rights).

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 3.38% (equals 4,469,269 voting
rights) is attributed to Fresenius Management SE pursuant to section 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: Fresenius SE &
Co. KGaA).

3) Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung notified us pursuant to section 21 para.
1 WpHG of the following:

On 29 June 2012, Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung exceeded the thresholds of
3% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Else
Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung held 3.38% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft (equals 4,669,269 voting rights).

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 3.38% (equals 4,669,269 voting
rights) is attributed to Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung pursuant to section
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled undertakings: Fresenius
