Top Image Systems Ltd. and OptoSweden Win Contract to Deliver eFLOW(R) Digital Mailroom (DMR) Project to Leading Airline

Airline Giant Selects eFLOW to Automate Air Traffic Security Documentation

TEL AVIV, Israel and COLOGNE, Germany, July 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems, Ltd. (Nasdaq:TISA), a leading ECM (Enterprise Content Management) intelligent content capture and delivery solutions provider, announced today that Top Image Systems, together with its Swedish partner OptoSweden and partner/client DevoIT, were selected to provide an eFLOW® digital mailroom (DMR) project to one of the largest operating airlines in the world. The airline is required to document all matters related to aircraft safety and security, throughout each aircraft's lifetime, and must have easy, open and constant access to all that documentation. To comply with these requirements, the airline selected eFLOW Digital Mailroom to automatically classify and index all the existing documentation related to each of its aircraft for quick and easy retrieval.

In order to sell an aircraft, the owner must comply with all relevant flight authority regulations for airplane safety and security, among these the transfer of the entire history of the aircraft's documentation, including quality tests, safety reports and other related documents to the new owner. To enable such transfers, this leading airline decided to digitize all paper documents by scanning them into the eFLOW system.

The project covers a scope of some 50 million documents covering the history of the airline's aircraft fleet, involving structured forms as well as semi-structured and unstructured documents. The project went live in the first quarter of 2012 and is expected to be completed by 2014.

"It is a proof point emphasizing the high accuracy, performance and quality of eFLOW that our Digital Mailroom solution has been selected by this leading player in the aerospace industry," remarked Michael Schrader, Managing Director, TIS EMEA. "Through our excellent relationships with our partners, Top Image is expanding its presence across different industry sectors in which the need for intelligent document and business process management products and service excellence and expertise are key. We expect this project to establish our reputation in the industry and act as a springboard towards similar new business."
