Tower Challenge Game Wins a Parents' Choice Award

Winning Moves Brainteaser in the Spotlight

DANVERS, Mass., July 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Winning Moves Games is proud to announce that its Tower Challenge™ game has won a prestigious Parents' Choice Award. Tower Challenge is part of a select group as fewer than 20% of the products submitted to the Parents' Choice Awards program receive any level of commendation. Founded in 1978, the Parents' Choice Foundation is the nation's oldest nonprofit consumer guide to quality children's media.

Tower Challenge, by Winning Moves, is newly released in 2012 and is based on a classic logic puzzle. It includes 6 discs of varying sizes and the object is to move an entire stack of discs from one tower to another. It sounds easy but the challenge is to move 1 disc at a time and a larger disc can never be placed on top of a smaller disc.

Tower Challenge is a logic puzzle/brain teaser that keeps people coming back for more.  Beginning players can start with 4 or 5 discs, instead of all 6, for a somewhat easier challenge.  The real fun is counting your moves to see how few it takes you to accomplish the goal. Take a look at the chart on the side of the package to see how well you stack-up. You could be a Perfect Genius, an Expert, a Sharp Thinker or you might need to Try Again!

This is the third award for Winning Moves Games in 2012. Their Rubik's® Void puzzle has received the Toy Insider Award for the Spring & Summer Hot Toys List and the ASTRA Award for Best Toys For Kids in the Brain Teasers category.

"We are honored to have won a Parents' Choice Award in addition to the 2 awards our Rubik's Void puzzle has won. Winning Moves Games is on a roll in 2012!" says Phil E. Orbanes Sr., President of Winning Moves Games.
