Helpdesk Training Course, First of Its Kind, Sets Standard in Assisting Technical Support Professionals During Installations


NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO, July 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capensys, a leading blended training solutions provider, has expanded its training services to include software testing, configuration service options for Office 2010, Technical Insight sessions and a Helpdesk training course for typical legal applications. Capensys' new services are designed to address and support the entire training process for law firm and corporate legal software implementations. Highlights of the Capensys Expanded Services Offerings include:

  • Helpdesk Training – The helpdesk training provides preparation, support and strategies to assist helpdesk professionals during software rollouts, an often overlooked but essential component of a software rollout. By analyzing successful projects conducted at other firms and combining the wide experience of our training team, Capensys has developed a 4-hour Helpdesk training course that provides intuitive solutions to common problems frequently documented by previous firms who have already undergone the rollout process.
  • Technical Insight Sessions – Capensys knows it's important for IT to understand the applications they are training and supporting in depth. They also know it is equally crucial that IT understand the design and configuration decisions that went into the new environment. These sessions provide insight into the processes and protocol that IT needs to support the user community, outlining specific roles and responsibility users or IT may need to take on – and why, as well as explaining the design and functionality decisions made. Session content is drawn from the input of key stakeholders.
  • Configuration Services – Capensys is getting "under the hood" with Windows 7 and Office 2010. Capensys now generates detailed reports which prescribe recommended settings for MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, noting changes between new and old desktop images. Services available for Windows 7 include configuration of the complete Windows Desktop. Additionally, Capensys is offering best practice strategy solutions for converting Office 2003 compatibility mode documents to include all features of Office 2010.
  • Software Testing – Capensys knows how applications should optimally perform. Our testing scripts and quality assurance strategies and services are now available to ensure a firm's desktop applications, MS Word 2010 and templates and macros are working as designed. Capensys provides reports and a list of issues, which will include what was tested and how it is performing. Troubleshooting efforts will then be made to resolve any issues that arise.
