Mark Fisher Appointed Chief Marketing Officer; Chris Wong Appointed to Vice President of Worldwide Sales; Kent Libbey Named General Manager, Small/Medium Business


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sococo, the Social Communications Company, today announced two new additions to its senior leadership team and named an executive to lead its new SMB initiative. Mark Fisher joins as Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for global marketing; Chris Wong joins as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and will lead all global sales activities.  Finally, Kent Libbey has been selected to lead a new business initiative as General Manager, Small/Medium Business.

Previously, Mark was EVP of Marketing and Business Development at Jasper Wireless, a cloud computing M2M service platform.   Prior to Jasper, he was SVP of Marketing and Business Development at Danger, a developer of cloud-based software services and mobile device software; Danger was acquired by Microsoft in 2008.  Mark has also held executive roles at Concentric Network Corporation (acquired by XO Communications in 2000) and Pacific Bell (acquired by SBC/ATT).  Mark has a BS in Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Chris holds a B.S. in marketing and finance from California State University in Hayward.
