ATLANTA, Sept. 4, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PRGX Global, Inc. (Nasdaq:PRGX), the world's leading provider of recovery audit services and the pioneer in Profit DiscoveryTM, today announced that it has been awarded the Comprehensive Recovery Audit Contract for the state of Rhode Island.
PRGX will perform a comprehensive recovery audit on behalf of the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) of all programs and services within several of the departments that administer Rhode Island's health service programs. These departments, under the authority of the EOHHS, provide a multitude of services and benefits to more than 300,000 Rhode Island citizens, at an annual cost of approximately $2.7 billion dollars per year. PRGX will work to identify and recover any payments, benefits or expenditures that have been erroneously processed. The initial term of the contract is three years and may be extended for up to two one-year terms.
