Weather II offer for La Mancha expires: proceeding with compulsory
acquisition

Weather Investments II S.a r.l. ("Weather II" or the "Company") and its
indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, 0944289 B.C. Ltd. (the "Offeror"),
announced today that an additional 18,550,051 common shares (the "La
Mancha Shares") of La Mancha Resources Inc. (TSX: LMN) ("La Mancha")
representing approximately 13% of the outstanding La Mancha Shares on a
fully diluted basis were deposited and have been taken up under the
offer (the "Offer") by the Offeror to acquire all of the La Mancha
Shares at a price of C$3.50 per La Mancha Share. The Offeror has
acquired a total of 141,289,646 La Mancha Shares pursuant to the Offer.
Weather II and its affiliates now collectively own 141,289,646 La
Mancha Shares, representing approximately 98.99% of the outstanding La
Mancha Shares on a fully diluted basis. The Offer is now closed.

As the Offer was accepted by holders of more than 90% of the La Mancha
Shares (other than La Mancha Shares held by the Offeror and its
affiliates and associates at the date of the Offer), the Offeror will
exercise its rights under the compulsory acquisition provisions of the
Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) to acquire all outstanding
La Mancha Shares. A notice of compulsory acquisition will be mailed
promptly to all remaining holders of La Mancha Shares.
