HOUSTON, Sept. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives from The Men's Center, Inc., Amegy Bank of Texas, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas), and other supporters as they celebrate the start of construction on a new transitional housing facility for men recovering from substance abuse.
The project received a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant from Amegy Bank of Texas and FHLB Dallas. Once completed, the project will add 128 beds for residents.
Representatives from the banks and The Men's Center will be available for photos and interviews. Current residents of The Men's Center will also be available for photos and interviews.
