The Support.com Premium Technology Services Platform includes service delivery tools, desktop agent software, subscription management and e-commerce capabilities, and a third party integration framework to enable channel partners to rapidly launch a high-quality, consistent and efficient premium services experience for consumers and small businesses.

The Microsoft® Windows 8 operating system includes significant upgrades and changes from earlier Windows releases, including an all-new touch-centric user interface, a common platform for desktop, notebook and mobile devices, and a new "live tile" app development environment.

The Support.com R&D team has been working with beta and preview releases of Windows 8 starting earlier this year. Included in the platform upgrade are Windows 8-specific performance optimizations and usability tweaks, compatibility upgrades, the ability to remotely control Windows 8 devices and support for the new Windows 8 app tile interface.
