New Sessions Added to Agenda for 13th Annual MicroEdge Solutions Conference

Attendees Get Even More Sessions to Choose from as Already Packed Agenda Grows

New York, Sept. 26, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MicroEdge, LLC, the leading provider of solutions to the giving community worldwide, announced today a number of additional sessions for its annual MicroEdge Solutions Conference (MESC). MESC is one of the largest gatherings of philanthropy professionals in the giving community today, uniting hundreds of representatives and experts from the philanthropic and corporate giving communities. MicroEdge originally announced the full conference agenda in August, but has now added more offerings, giving attendees a greater selection of sessions to choose from. This year's conference will take place from October 14th - 17th in Baltimore, MD.

Attendees at the MicroEdge Solutions Conference represent a diverse range of organizations, which are united by the fact that they are working for the greater good and using MicroEdge systems to help them simplify, manage and measure their efforts. The overarching goal of MESC is to provide them with a venue in which to share their insights and best practices with one another, and to learn how to use their software system to work more efficiently, insightfully and effectively--so they can tackle the broader issues they face with greater confidence and ease, and make a larger impact with their giving. MicroEdge works closely with its clients, as well as numerous industry experts, to develop an engaging conference agenda that enables each attendee to participate in highly targeted sessions, labs and discussions that are relevant to their individual focus and interests.

The recently-updated MESC session agenda incorporates some notable additions. Among these are a number of additional presentations on Outcomes and Impact, including sessions that involve participation from executive leadership of Social Solutions, an industry-leading provider of performance management software for human service organizations; Mission Measurement, a strategy consulting firm that empowers organizations with data to solve social problems more efficiently; and Kuity Corporation, which provides organizations with advanced analytics and turnkey software to create dynamic, practical risk and valuation intelligence that guides ongoing strategy and execution. Other session additions include a presentation about how The MasterCard Foundation went through an extensive effort to review their processes and data needs. Attendees will learn more about their journey, the insights they gained, and the improvements they rolled out to ensure the successful use of the GIFTS grants management system.

The theme of this year's conference is Working in New Ways. In an era characterized by incredible change, globalization and rapid technological advancement, the philanthropic and corporate giving communities are forced to evolve faster than ever before. "Innovative technologies and new methods of collaboration can open countless doors to increased efficiencies and progressive ways of thinking," says MicroEdge CEO, Preston McKenzie. "That concept is the centerpiece of this year's conference, because we believe that the organizations that will be truly successful in the future are those that embrace necessary change. We're committed to supporting our clients toward that end, as our goal is to empower them to be as impactful as possible by providing them with innovative software and the best possible guidance on how to successfully use it.
