Skanska divests three hospitals in UK for about GBP 66 M, about SEK 715 M


Skanska has sold its investment in three hospitals in the Midlands, UK, to co
-investor Innisfree for about GBP 66M, about SEK 715 M. The transaction will be
recorded in the third quarter of 2012.
The three PPP (Private Public Partnership) hospitals are, University Hospital
Coventry, Derby City General Hospital and the Sherwood Forest Hospitals. Skanska
was responsible for the successful design and construction of the hospitals and
operations at the facilities commenced in June 2007, December 2008 and March
2011 respectively, providing world-class facilities for clinical staff
and hundreds of thousands patients each year across the communities they serve.

Under a separate contract, Skanska UK is also responsible for the Hard Facility
Management Services at Derby City General Hospital and the Sherwood Forest
Hospitals. Today’s announcement relates to Skanska’s equity interests in these
hospitals only. Skanska will continue to deliver the Hard Facility Management
services at Derby City General Hospital and Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
