Toronto Chiropractor Welcomes Dr. Lingard's Patients and Extends Hours

TORONTO, Sept. 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Toronto chiropractor Dr. Brian Dower announced that he is expanding his practice hours for patient convenience. Dr. Dower is adding an additional five hours per week while welcoming patients of his fellow chiropractor Dr. Katie Lingard to his practice. Dr. Lingard recently relocated to Alberta, and referred her Toronto patients to Dr. Dower for chiropractic care. Like Dr. Lingard, Dr. Dower offers non-invasive pain management and chiropractic care, with the additional service of cold laser therapy. He expects that the extended treatment hours will make it easier for Dr. Lingard's patients to seamlessly transition their existing treatments to his wellness center.

Dr. Brian Dower is welcoming patients to his Toronto chiropractic care practice that were previously receiving treatment from Dr. Katie Lingard. Dr. Dower and Dr. Lingard shared a practice prior to Dr. Lingard's relocation.

"We wish Dr. Lingard the best of luck with her move to Alberta," said Dr. Dower. "Her patients and I will certainly miss working with her. I am excited to welcome her patients to my practice and am committed to providing the same quality care that they received from Dr. Lingard. Our expanded treatment hours will help make the transition as smooth as possible."

Prior to Dr. Lingard's departure, the two chiropractors hosted a joint open house on August 15th to introduce Dr. Lingard's patients to Dr. Dower.

"For patients who struggle with chronic back pain or injury rehabilitation, continuing a consistent treatment schedule is essential to effective pain management," said Dr. Dower. "My goal is to make the transition period seamless. Our wellness center is committed to the highest quality patient care and customer service."

Dr. Dower has been adjusting patients for over 10 years at his Yonge and Bloor location. He provides non-invasive pain management for a variety of chronic pain conditions, including back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, fatigue, headaches and migraines.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Dower uses a variety of gentle hands-on adjustment techniques to restore proper alignment to the spine and naturally manage pain. These techniques include Diversified adjustments, the Activator Method and Thompson Technique. The practice also offers low-level cold laser therapy to help reduce pain and accelerate internal healing following an injury.

"Our treatments are a natural, drug-free way to manage pain and promote healing," said Dr. Dower. "From whiplash injuries to workplace injuries, I am committed to help patients not only find natural pain relief, but also enhance their overall well being. Our complementary treatments, including massage therapy and post-injury rehabilitation, can truly make a difference for a patient's overall health."

Dr. Dower is also completing studies in certified medical acupuncture and will be adding acupuncture to his services towards the end of the calendar year.
