AdvanIDe Expands Technical Support Operations in India

Moves Field Application Engineering and Sales Teams to Larger Facility, Enhancing Company's Service Offering for Customers in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific


SINGAPORE, Oct. 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AdvanIDe, the leading independent provider of semiconductors for the smart card and RFID industry, today announced it has expanded its technical support operations serving customers in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. The company has moved its field application engineering (FAE) to larger offices in Mumbai, India, where they can offer visiting customers easier airport access and also scale AdvanIDe's support offering, as needed, to support growing demand for its services.

The newly expanded AdvanIDe technical support center now occupies twice the space of its previous facility, and features the latest product development toolkits and test equipment. The operation is structured to provide round-the-clock support, including 24-hour response to all inquiries and 12-hour resolution of any known issue. The new facility also delivers a wide variety of product evaluation and certification services to AdvanIDe customers, and houses back-office administration personnel for the operation, as well. Additionally, AdvanIDe has moved its regional sales team to the new, larger offices in Mumbai.
